Thank you so much for coming to today's class! We’re off to a great start! To keep up the momentum, listen, listen, listen to the CD.
Your little one will engage and participate more readily in class when s/he recognizes the music! Also, remember to bring your
tote, workbook and wrist bells to class every week.
As your children get more comfortable with the routines, the space, the new friends, and me, we will see a lot of engagement and
growth. Don't worry if it doesn't look like it right at first - they're absorbing all the new stuff!
You should have received an email with instructions for how to download this semester's music. If you did not for some reason, you can
find it by going to https://playmusic.customerhub.net/ and
logging in using the same login you used to register. Let me know if you have any problems.

optional home fun activity
***remember, these activities are optional but can be a great bonding experience to do with your child during the
week.
Lesson
1: Do the Name
Recognition activity on page 20 of your workbook
more
than play Did you know
the most important word in language is your name? That’s why saying, singing, writing and teaching your child to recognize his/her
name is the best start to teaching language and its written symbols. Even if your child is very young, s/he will make
connections with his/her written name. The home fun activity page also has a few creative suggestions for reinforcing this
skill.
